I had the opportunity to assist a family when they were looking to find the best Assisted Living Facilities in the Carrollton TX area for their dad.

The family wasn’t from the area and really didn’t know where to start as they had recently moved.  They had done an online search for assisted living facilities and come across Senior Living Specialists’ website.  Although, we knew the location was important to the family, we also considered looking at Plano assisted living options since there was one that would have been a good fit.  I was able to counsel the family throughout the entire process as the dad was very resistant to do the move which is understandable.  The family expressed how appreciative they were to me on how I was able to provide insight on how to ensure that their dad would transition as well as possible to the assisted living Community.  Often times families don’t take into consideration how difficult it is for a senior to do a move since they’re leaving their home, moving to a new city and having to make new friends. The family member moved into the assisted living facility back in April and things are going well so far.
